Due to the Covid-19 global pandemic we have unfortunately had to halt many of our plans to take our children on Educational Visits. Now that restrictions are being lifted we are delighted to put our plans into action for the first time in almost two years.
To support our curriculum, we will regularly take children on educational visits.  This includes residential visits to Whithaugh Park in Year 4 and to Ford Castle in Year 6. We have recommenced swimming lessons for our Year 4 & 5 children as part of their curriculum learning and have many more plans across the school.
Educational visits are an important part of children's learning and alongside supporting our curriculum objectives, they help the children gain a broader understanding of the world around them and expose them to new experiences.

We will seek permission from parents for all off site activities, outside of our 'Routine Visits' policy. All visits, including risk assessments, are planned using the County Council's Evolve system.
